The candidate will utilize engineering tools such as QCAT and QXDM to conduct deep-dive protocol analysis at the PHY, MAC, and RRC layers, ensuring hardware-software synchronization and stability for 5G NR and LTE technologies. Responsibilities include designing technical test plans to validate modem chipset integration, diagnosing root causes of hardware-related communication failures, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure hardware prototypes meet Tier-1 carrier certification and regulatory performance standards. This specialty occupation requires a U.S. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field, as the position necessitates the theoretical application of complex wireless communication principles and hardware system architecture validation.
